Yuhao Dong

My name is Dong Yuhao, born in Taizhou, Zhejiang.

Before joining the Liu lab, I was focusing on the epigenetic sequencing data analysis of psychiatry disorders, such as depression, and bioinformatics methods development. Having obtained my master's degree in Neurobiology from Fudan University and participated in the development of a Pacbio-data-analysis toolkit at Peking University for one year, my research experience over the past few years has made me immensely curious about 1) the integration of multi-omics and analysis of biomedical big data to reveal mechanisms in diseases, and 2) the development and improvement of computational methods to support such analysis. Recently, I am really interested in machine learning and statistics applications in bioinformatics. Apart from academic research, I also enjoy literature reading and sports.
